The city of Bengaluru has witnessed a prolific rise in commercial buildings over the years with rapid development following the Information Technology boom in the late 1990s. The ubiquitous glass and steel structures are starkly visible in various parts of the city and in zones designated for commercial spaces.  

This series captures the inherent duality between these contemporary buildings and their surrounding context: modern and historic; urban and semi-urban. Is this duality of yin and yang an indivisible whole?
